Chapter One: I’ve learned from the best!
Wild Rose
Memories began to rush through my head. I can feel the familiar ache on my chest.
I sighed and looked up at him.
Like I expected, Devon’s smile was pure devilry. “But I’m hurt, Wild Rose! Devon? No Justin for me now?” He asked and shook his head in a teasing manner, a sly smile playing on his lips.
I closed my eyes and heaved a deep sigh, trying to calm my nerves. I looked up at him with no trace of emotion in my eyes. “It suits you better.” I replied frostily.
I saw him taken aback by my change of demeanor but after a few minutes he’s already smirking and of course being him.
I wouldn’t expect less.
This is Justin Devon we’re talking about. He’s the devil incarnate!
Devon’s laugh snapped me out of my thoughts. “I can see that you’ve changed.” He raised his eyebrow and eyed my appearance shamelessly. He didn’t look up as he spoke, his usual smirk playing on his lips.
I smiled broadly, masking my irritation. “I wish I could say the same thing but…” I trailed off and looked at him from head to toe. “But looking at you right now, you’re still the same Devon I used to know.” I continued casually.
Devon laughed hysterically sa pang gigigil ko.
He gave me a lopsided smile. “You mean the same Devon you fell in love with?” He asked, tauntingly.
I laughed kahit gustong gusto kong basagin yung pagmumuka nito sa sobrang inis ko. “Love?” I asked with a feigned laugh. “Maybe. But can you blame me? I was too young back then, I don’t know what’s the true meaning of “demon” and “fraud” before, kaya nga kita pinatulan hindi ba?” Nakangisi kong balik tanong dito.
To my surprise and humiliation, Devon laughed wholeheartedly. “You’re quite right. Back then, you’re so young and ignorant. You actually let me fucked you. You even begged for it, wild rose.”
I stiffen. His words ripped through me, tormenting my soul.
Fuck huh?
For him, It was just a plain fvck and nothing more.
But for the “virgin” and “naive” me, tumataginting na “make love” yung nangyari.

I gave him everything I had to give!
Back then, All I thought about was sunshine and rainbows with unicorns.
Good thing, those days are long gone!
I mentally slapped myself and tried to push the painful thought out of my mind.
This is not the time to reminisce, especially if you’re in front of a fucking devil incarnate.
I shook my head, trying to clear my mind.
I stared at him, a chuckle escaped my lips. “How could I forget? It was the lamest fvck I have ever had.” I replied, giving him my innocent smile.
Devon devilishly smiled at me. “Lamest?” He scoffed. “If my memory serves me right, you screamed my name the whole fvcking time I thought I’ll go deaf. That was the meaning of lame to you now?” He crooked his head at one side and chuckled tauntingly. “I need to update my vocabulary then.”
I clenched my fists.
I can feel my body trembling with rage as I glared at him.
Darn this guy!!!
I closed my eyes out of frustration.
Sh!t!!!
I need to calm down.
Don’t lose it, Armie. Don’t lose your cool!!!
I heaved a deep sigh.
I looked up at him and started walking forward.
I sway my hips seductively, making sure that he’s looking.
I stopped exactly in front of him.
Devon clenched his jaw and his eyes darkened, digging holes into my skin.
Good! Looks like he’s not so immune to my charm after all.
I raised my hand and seductively traced his jawline using my fingers habang mapang akit ko pa rin tong tinititigan. “I’m glad you remember a few things about me. Again, I wish I could say the same.” I looked straight into his eyes and gave him an alluring smile. “But you could help me with that.” I continued.
Devon peered at my face with furrowed eyebrows. “Help you?” He asked with a guarded expression on his face
“Yes.” Taas kilay kong sagot dito. “By doing this.” I snaked my arms around his neck, taking him by surprise. I grabbed the back of his head and claimed his lips hard.
Devon stiffened but after a few seconds, he kissed me back.
Sh!t!!
This devil can kiss like hell!!
His kiss is so darn intoxicating!!
I nipped his lower lip and mustered all the strength I need to push him away.
We’re catching our breath, his eyes darker, filled with lust as he stared at me, at my lips.
I smirked and raised my eyebrow, trying my best to conceal my agitation. “Just like I predicted. It’s as lame as before. Now, you had me thinking, why I fell in love with you.” I paused, looking thoughtful. After a few minutes, I tapped his cheek. “It must be the looks.”
I closed his jaw, using my finger and giggled. “I know babe, I can kiss like a pro but there’s no need to make it so obvious.” I said, winking at him.
I tip toe, pressing my lips against his for a sweet poisonous, lingering kiss. “Piece of advice babe, practice makes perfect.” I murmured against his lips. I stepped back and crooked my head at one side, waiting for his outburst.
Devon’s face turned red with rage. “You bitch!!” He said, sharply.
I laughed, lips curled up in amusement. “I’m what you said, thanks to you.” I said and waved my hand dismissively. “What can I say, I’ve learned from the best.” I added with a smirk playing on my perfect lips.
Devon suddenly wrapped his arms around my shoulders pulling me to his drolly chest.
My eyes widened in shock, a gasp escaped my lips.
Before I could jerk out of his grip, he grabbed onto my hair, wrapping it around his hand and kissed me hard.
The kiss was rough and fierce.
I moaned and pushed him away but he wouldn’t budge.
After a few minutes, he abruptly released his grip and pulled away without taking his eyes off me. “Have I told you not to play with fire, wild rose?” He asked, sadistically.
