PROLOGUE
I crossed my arms against my chest with furrowed eyebrows. “Stop nagging me, Robbie.”
Robbie waved his hand around us. “This needs to stop, Armie!”
I looked around. “What needs to stop? Wala naman akong nakikitang problema.” I replied defiantly.
Robbie snorted and scoffed in disbelief . “Walang nakikitang problema?” He snatched my lighter and pointed his finger at the group not far away from us. “And what the fuck is this and that?”
I raised my eyebrow, a chuckle escaped my lips. “Pot session, I know that more than anyone you know what it is.” I remarked slyly.
Robbie ran his fingers through his hair, irritatingly. “What the fuck is wrong with you?I thought you’ve already done with this bullsh!t!!”
I gave him my oh so innocent smile, grinding my teeth in frustration . “Please, spare me your preaching. I know what I’m doing. Hindi na ako bata. Stop treating me like one!”
“Then stop acting like a darn spoiled child!” He screamed.
I shook my head and let out an exasperated sigh.
I know that drugs are a deal breaker for him.
Bwisit kasi yung kaibigan ko at nagsumbong sumbong pa dito sa lalaki nato! May pagka OA pa naman tong lalaki na to.
“We’re going home.” Robbie said firmly and sternly.
I know when to give up and this one is a losing battle. I huffed. “Fine.” I said and pushed his shoulder in my way out.
I stopped walking when I remembered that I’m not holding my purse. “I forgot my purse.”
Robbie looked at me suspiciously.
I rolled my eyes. “I’m not making an alibi and I’m not trying to escape either, you moron.”
He shook his head. “Where did you put your darn purse?”
I give him a sly smile. “At the bar counter?”
Robbie sighed. “I’ll get it. Just wait here and don’t you dare go anywhere.”
I touched my heart and looked at him dramatically. “I promise with all my heart.”
“Armie.” He said warningly.
My eyes widened with feigned shock. “What? Did you want me to pinky swear as well?” I asked, using my innocent voice and smile.
Robbie shook his head at my antics. “Just—-“ He trailed off. “Never mind.” He continued.
He started walking inside after giving me a warning look.
When Robbie’s out of sight, I grabbed my hair out of frustration.
Darn it!
Darn Robbie’s protectiveness and my friend’s big mouth.
I groaned at my thought.
So much for having fun!
Suddenly I hear someone clearing his throat behind me.
I spun around, only to come face to face with a demon. “Devon!” I exclaimed as the pain flowed inside me like a sea, crashing down on me, almost drowning me in tears.
He raised an eyebrow, a devilish glint in his eyes.
“We meet again, my sweet little Wild Rose.”
