Chapter Nine: Past (Part 1)
Robbie’s POV
“When did they meet again?” Tanong ko kay Chelle nang hindi ko inaalis yung pagkakatitig ko kay Devon.
I genuinely hate his guts. Unang kita ko palang sa hilatsa ng mukha nito kumulo na ang dugo ko.
From the corner of my eye, nakita ko yung ginagawang pagtitig sakin ni Chelle. “College days?” Chelle answered, looking worried and confused.
I clenched my fists so tight.
Nilipat ko yung tingin ko kay Sigrid at nakita ko yung ginagawa nitong pagtitig kay Devon.
If looks could kill, patay na sana ngayon si Devon.
Sigrid’s action is quite out of character.
And so is Armie.
Isama pa yung fact na alam ni Devon yung tungkol sa obsession ni Armie sa baking bukod pa sa allergy nito.
Only few people know that Armie can be domesticated.
Yung mga tao lang na “malapit” dito ang nakakaalam non.
And in Armie’s case, mabibilang sa isang kamay yung mga tao na yon.
I looked again at Devon’s na kanina pa poker face simula ng nag walk out si Armie.
I saw red!!
Fvck this bastard!
I don’t need to be Einstein to know what happened or what’s going on.
He’s the “fvcking guy”!!
The “fvcking guy” who changed her!
The “fvcking guy” who screwed her!
I stand up so fast and do what I wanna do simula ng malaman ko yung tungkol dito.
I punched him real hard, not minding the shrieks and screams around us.
Fvck! That was good!
It was long overdue.
“Stay away from Armie.” I said with finality bago ako tumalikod at hinatak si Chelle palabas. Kung mananatili pa ako baka hindi lang sapak ang abutin sakin ng lalaki na yon.
I might kill him with my bare hands!
ARMIE’S POV
Everything that happened in that Restaurant made me think of our past. I drove home with trembling hands with confused minds as the old memories rushed through me.
FLASHBACK.
“Come on mine! Just fvcking lay down.”
I looked at him sternly.
Tamang pagtaasan ako ng boses? Kakatapos lang kaya ng atake ko!
Justin sighed and rubbed his forehead in frustration. Hinawakan nito ang magkabila kong balikat. “Please for my sanity, just stay still and follow my request?”
I rolled my eyes on the ceiling.
That’s not a request. That was an order!
Men!
I sighed and stared at him. “Baby, you’re overreacting. It’s just an allergy—-“
I was cut off when Devon suddenly pressed his lips against mine. I can feel his frustration through his kiss.
God how I love this guy. He makes my knees buckled and my legs turn to jelly sa isang halik lang. How could this happen in a very short time is beyond me.
“What’s wrong?” Hinihingal na tanong ko dito nang pinakawalan na nito yung mga labi ko.
Justin pressed his forehead against mine. “You scared me. Nang makita ko na hinahabol mo yung hininga mo kanina at nakita ko kung paanong namula yung buong mukha mo. I was scared fvcking shit less out of my wits.” He paused and sighed. He claimed my lips for another quick aggressive kiss. “I’ve been in a lot of dangerous situations but I’ve never been so scared in my life until now.” He dropped his hands but his eyes held mine. His breathing became ragged.
“Fvck! My heart literally stops beating Armie! I thought—“ Tumigil ulit to sa pagsasalita na para bang hirap na hirap to sa dapat nitong sabihin. “I thought I lost you.” Dugtong nito sa mahina nitong tinig.
Justin’s voice trembled and all I can think of is how can I be so blessed to have him in my life.
I might be a warrior or saint in my past life para ibigay ng Dyos sakin tong lalaki nato.
Masuyo nalang akong ngumiti at hinawakan yung magkabila nitong pisngi. “I’ll always be here baby. It needs a freaking load of shrimp to take me down!”
Nawala yung pagkaka kunot ng noo ni Justin habang tinititigan ako. He sighed and chuckled amusingly. “Even in this state, lumalabas pa rin yung pagiging smart mouth mo. What Am I gonna do with you, mine.” Paungol na sabi nito habang hinahaplos yung pisngi ko.
Hinawakan ko yung kamay nito na nakapatong sa mga pisngi ko. “Exactly. I’m your MINE! I’m yours to keep. I’m yours forever.” Buong pagmamahal kong bigkas dito.
Tumayo ng tuwid si Justin at napalitan ng kaseryosohan yung ginagawa nitong pagtitig sakin.
“You’re right! You’re mine.” He paused and suddenly pulled me against his chest. “Forever.” He whispered.
But that forever didn’t come true.
